ROLLER SKATING LESSONS

In addition to the usual adult training sessions, we continue to run roller skating lessons on a regular basis at the Csepel roller skating rink with quad skates (also known as parallel or traditional). If you don't already have skates, we will try to lend you one so you can try it out at no extra cost. We welcome adults and less adults at the roller skating school. Drop us a note or give us a ring if you'd like to come, as we're not always outdoors in the winter.

(Skates can be rented from size 36 to 41 for 400 HUF (1 EUR) per session.)

CSEPEL SPORT ISLAND PROGRAMME

Today we signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Municipality of Csepel. With this agreement, our sport club, together with many other clubs in the district, is trying to boost the sporting life with the help of the local government and to involve more people in sporting activities. And, of course, the world of derby. If you would like to join us, either as a player or as a helper, feel free to contact us!

MOZGÁS RECEPTRE (Exercise on Prescription)

Today, organized by the Municipality of Csepel, we joined the national EXERCISE ON PRESCRIPTION program, which provides people who need movement therapy and are looking for exercise with the opportunity to find suitable and necessary exercise options for maintaining their health within the framework of sports organizations. MOGGSZ & artistic skating

Today marks the end of a long process, or rather the beginning of a new chapter. :)
Our sport club has joined the Hungarian National Roller Skating and Skateboarding Federation, which opens up new opportunities for us, such as participation in domestic and international competitions. This was an important step because, at the end of November, our management unanimously approved the creation of a new department under the leadership of Angela Heredia, in accordance with our statutes. The new section integrates the Joy-Artistic Roller Skating Budapest team as an artistic roller skating section, but they will retain their name and autonomy. However, this will allow them to enter the world of competition through BPRD.
We also joined the NSR system, which is the National Sports Registration system, so we are now on the map in every aspect.

WORLD SKATE DAY 2024

On 28 April 2024, we invite you to celebrate together! It's been 100 years (+1 week) since World Skate brought together the world's skating sports, including the different branches of roller skating. So join us for a picnic, try yourself, meet the quad skating groups, get to know each other, skate, and skate some more ??

PROGRAMME
15:00 Roller skate picnic (warm-up, get friends, obstacle course, technical questions, how-to-set-your-skate, basics for beginners)
16:00 Artistic skate preview and learning an easy move
16:30 Skate dance and learning a koreo for beginners
17:00-18:00 Liget round for beginners
17:15 Jam advanced koreo
18:00 Skating to Jászai (not for beginners, optional)
18:15 Gathering at Jászai M. Sqr for street session
18:30 Advanced street session from Jászai Sqr (Jászai - rakpart - Erzsébet híd - Ferenciek tere - Erzsébet tér - Andrássy út - Városliget Promenád)
19:30-22:00 Having fun and Jamming in Városliget

Everyone can participate in the event at their own risk. Skates and protective equipment are not available at this time, everyone must bring their own.
During the picnic, participants are asked to dispose of any trash generated in nearby trash cans, not leave it behind.
Pictures and videos will be taken during the event and can be used by the organisers on their social media pages.
You can meet lots of skaters throughout the day. Be nice to each other, help each other out!

TATA ROLLING 230611 - HOW IT WAS

Well, that was a good one. A bit longer than the planned 27km, t'was 29.71km. We didn't have our hair blowing in the wind, but we managed. Special congratulations to Debee and Julie, for whom this was their first longer trek and they didn't give up!

And don't forget, you can always come to us for roller skating lessons. Success is guaranteed.

TATA ROLLING 230611

This year's first close-to-nature experience will be in Tata on a beautiful new bike path on easy terrain. After the ride we will have a break, eat, drink, refresh ourselves and if you feel like it you can join us for a walk on Fényes trail.
The hike is basically for quad skaters, which sets the pace. If you are coming with an inline, expect us to be slower.
Protective gear is recommended but not mandatory. The terrain is not difficult.

IN NEED OF A PRACTICING PLACE

We are still looking for practicing field. Mostly in the South of Budapest, in a well accessible location, close to metro or main tram line.

The place could be a warehouse, a large workshop, a hall, a gym. The main thing is to be indoors. 20x30 metres with a flat concrete, parquet or resin floor. We don't need anything else, if it's unheated or without lights, that's no problem, as long as it doesn't rain or snow. If you know of such a place, let us know!
